This website is about traditions and culture of  Havyaka Brahmin community of southern state of Karnataka, India. The articles will be mainly  in Kannada language.

Traditional songs are part and parcel of Havyakas. In  Satyanarana puja, festivals, marriage, upanayana, or any occasion, these traditional songs set the right tone and flavor for the function.

However, in modern times, singing traditional songs are becoming  leaves of history.  This blog is an attempt to preserve the  heritage of traditional songs by recording and sharing them on the Internet  to  spread our  rich tradition and culture in the community.
